A group of scouts and leaders from Troop 4 took on Mt. Katahdin recently. Slick conditions presented unique challenges, but the group proved to be resilient and reached the summit, Baxter Peak, early morning. The group also enjoyed canoeing whitewater in the Matagamon Wilderness next to Baxter State Park in completing a 50 Mile Trek.
