There are three levels of backup for the Troop 4 web site. Contact Steve Eddins for access to the backup files.

1. On the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd of each month, a backup dump is made of the WordPress database and a tar archive is created from the web root directory. The most recent four backups are saved. The backups are stored in the backups directory of ftp.eddins.net.
2. Once per week, the backup files on ftp.eddins.net are downloaded to Steve Eddins’s laptop.
3. Files on Steve’s laptop are automatically saved via the Carbonite online backup service.
